This beautiful hand-drawn, screen-printed map shows the sixteen regions of Ghana bordered in gorgeous regional Kente fabric designs.

My friend Cat Drew used to make amazing graphic maps of local areas like Hackney, Brighton and Dalston - I loved the graphic aerial view, bold strokes and vibrant colours - as soon as I saw one I knew I wanted one of Ghana and that it should go into the cookbook as a visual inspiration for cooks around the world! Cat agreed and made this beautiful map which sits in the cookbook!

Cat was kind enough to hand print 50 copies and I had them stored away for years! Until now - you can buy these limited edition prints (unframed) for a bargain price - I have gifted a number of these to close friends or mentors over the past year but there are a handful left for you bring Ghana into your home

The kente designs are in three colours and are symbolic. Black represents Africa, spiritual strength, and growth. Red signifies the blood of ancestors, passion, and strength. And Yellow means wealth and royalty.

You can see the main forests marked in green, and the blue marks the river systems, including the Volta River.

The map is a beautiful representation of Ghana. It is both symbolic as well as a representation of the country’s past, vast resources, and rich culture.

The artist’s signature is on the right-hand bottom corner.

It looks wonderful hung up on the wall and makes an excellent gift for anyone who supports the New African Cuisine and the African Food Revolution.
